We Laguardia Students are only a small handful of the youth demographic that this project targets. Similar to how the three astronauts had a mission to reach Mars, so do we. Our progress toward discovery, equality and potentially life on Mars has been squandered by the hostility the nations on Earth hold towards each other. Our planet cannot handle this hostility much longer. The destruction of our planet hasnt united us, the deaths of our people havent united us, but maybe reaching for Mars will.
